VISIT LUIS SAAVEDRA ORGANIC WINERY IN MADRID
Like many of the most important companies in the world, the organic winery Luis Saavedra was born in a garage, where the Saavedra family in 1996 after accumulating four generations dedicated to the care of the land and vines, began his career in the world of winemaking, founding in 1999 what is now one of the most recognized wineries in Madrid.
The wines are made with centenary Grenache and Albillo Real. Wines from mountain plots (Sierra de Gredos).
''CHULO'' ORGANIC WINE OF MADRID
Chulo is a wine made from 100% Grenache grapes harvested at night.
It is made in stainless steel tanks at a fermentation temperature of between 18 and 20 degrees and in order to extract the best qualities of the grapes daily punch downs are performed.
Bouquet is reminiscent of red fruits, raspberry, vanilla, floral and complex. The palate is fleshy, elegant, with personality, good structure and acidity with a balsamic and fruity aftertaste, long, persistent mineral.
