Bideona was born in the heart of Rioja Alavesa to contribute to a new generation of Rioja wines, wines that represent the expression of their origin as opposed to that of their method of production; elegant and profound wines that seek to reflect in the glass the diversity and personality of the villages, sites and plots of Rioja Alavesa.
WINES FROM THE BEST VINEYARDS OF RIOJA ALAVESA
Our vision is to be able to produce terroir wines, fresh, elegant, deep, gastronomic and age-worthy, from some of the best vineyards in Rioja Alavesa.
We cultivate more than 300 plots of incredible vineyards in the villages of Villabuena de Alava, Samaniego, Laguardia, Leza, Baños de Ebro, Navaridas, Lanciego, Kripan, Labastida and Elciego. The average size of our plots is less than half a hectare and their average age is around 50 years, with many planted in the 20s, 30s and 40s of the 20th century.
This is the raison d'être of this project: this identity. Bideona brings you through its vineyards to know the diversity and personality of each of the villages of Rioja Alavesa and how we reflect it in our wines, wines of place that express a place.
At Bideona we are a team of experienced wine professionals, united by the love of Rioja Alavesa and the vision of highlighting its full potential as one of the world's great wine-growing origins.

Gran experiencia tanto la visita como la cata. Imprescindible de la zona para descubrir una filosofía de vinos de pueblo (o de terroir) que busca poner en valor la riqueza vitícola de La Rioja Alavesa mediante grandes vinos que transmitan las características propias de cada una de sus zonas. Gracias Peio por compartir con nosotros un proyecto tan especial, lo disfrutamos muchísimo y volveremos pronto!!
Ha sido una experiencia muy agradable tanto la visita guiada, como la cata de vinos. Muy interesante la filosofía de la bodega y unos muy buenos vinos tanto el tinto como el blanco. Gracias Peio por tu entusiasmo y conocimiento a la hora de contar el porqué de todo lo que hacéis y poner en valor al viticultor. Sin lugar a dudas volvermos.
