VISIT VALENCISO WINERY (RIOJA ALTA)
Our beautiful winery is located in Ollauri, 3 km. from Haro. We are a unique Rioja winery in La Rioja. We produce an innovative wine, without losing the origin of the Rioja Alta area. The most modern of the classics, the most classic of the modern is the definition we like most.
The name VALENCISO comes from the union of our surnames Luis VALENTIN and Carmen ENCISO. With the illusion and strength of youth to undertake the project of our dreams we founded VALENCISO 25 years ago.
ORGANIC FARMING
We pamper the vineyard. The vineyard and the way it is cultivated is the most important thing in a winery. We cultivate our vineyard organically, it is in clay-limestone soils, between 480 and 610 meters above sea level, with low production and manual harvesting as it can only be in a quality wine.
We are winemakers, caretakers of vineyards. Our wines in their elegance keep all the care we give them, and the life that gives them this land.
WINE TOURISM IN VALENCISO WINERIES
The visits to the winery are different from most wineries because they are personally conducted by the founders/directors of the winery: Luis Valentín or Carmen Enciso. We see the vineyard, the winery and then we taste three wines. In summer we have been offering different and very interesting activities related to wine, the heritage of La Rioja, for more than fifteen years.

Cuando alguien pone pasión en lo que hace, el resultado es siempre espectacular. En Valenciso han puesto pasión, empeño y profesionalidad y sus vinos son maravillosos. Esto nos lo transmitió Carmen en sus palabras, llenas de experiencia y pasión por lo que hacen en su bodega y lo pudimos corroborar en la cata final, donde se materializó todo lo que habíamos aprendido anteriormente durante la visita. Fue una experiencia increíble la cual recomendamos encarecidamente. Volveremos sin duda. Un abrazo.
Acudimos con unos amigos y salieron perplejos y enamorados. Una bodega pequeña, con mucho encanto y mimo por el detalle y trato exquisito al vino y a cada persona que pasa por su bodega. Explicaciones completas y con muchas anécdotas que contar. Diferente a muchas otras que hemos visto y ganadora, para mi opinión, de cuatro adeptos más al sabor maravilloso de ese vino, que personalmente me enamoró el sabor del blanco, mejor tras unos minutos en la copa y me sorprendió gratamente el rosado. Volveremos.
