VISIT VEGA DEL CASTILLO WINERIES IN NAVARRA

Bodegas Vega del Castillo was born in 1999 after the merger of the wineries of three emblematic localities of the Ribera Alta de Navarra: the Bodega Cooperativa Olitense, the oldest of them all, founded in 1910 by Victoriano Flamarique in Olite; together with the Unión de Cooperativas Virgen de Ujué (Ujué) and the Cooperativa Vinícola Nuestra Señora de Ujué (Pitillas). In this way, they were able to join forces and efforts for the joint production and marketing of their wines.

TRADITIONAL AND SUSTAINABLE VITICULTURE

Traditional winemaking techniques, vinification by parcels and varieties and respect for the environment are the key ingredients of its viticulture, focused on transmitting the personality of the terroir in each bottle. This is how their wines are born, without complexes and full of nuances, highly appreciated for their excellent quality/price ratio. As a result, they present a wide range of brands that combine tradition and modernity.

INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED WINES

This trajectory is attested by multiple awards granted by wine competitions of recognized international prestige, such as Mundus Vini, Decanter, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles or International Wine Challenge.
