VISIT 11 ÁNFORAS [VALDEPEÑAS, CIUDAD REAL]
11 Ánforas is a venue devoted to promoting wine culture. It was founded in 2016 by the Lucendo family, a long line of oenologists.
Located in the heart of Valdepeñas, it houses a century-old winery of clay tinajas (large earthenware jars used to make and age wine), where the history of wine can be felt. Here visitors are introduced to the world of wine through guided tastings, training courses and all kinds of events.
On the upper floor of the winery is a wine shop that combines sustainable, eco-friendly architecture with modern design. It stocks wines from the region alongside gastronomic products —Manchego cheese, vermouth, olive oil…— and everything related to wine: gifts and accessories.
Making a great wine is as important as making it known. With advice from our technical staff and sommeliers, you will get the information you need to choose the option that best suits you. You can also taste the wines before buying them at cellar-door prices.

He tenido la suerte de conocer 11 Anforas gracias a un regalo sorpresa, y no podría haber sido más especial. Como andaluza y Rondeña, considero un auténtico privilegio haber descubierto este rincón tan singular de Valdepeñas, donde se respira historia, tradición y pasión por el vino. La visita a su centenaria bodega de tinajas de barro fue fascinante, y la cata guiada resultó muy amena e interesante. Además, pudimos degustar una excelente variedad de vinos acompañados de deliciosos quesos manchegos artesanos, una combinación espectacular. Una experiencia única, cuidada al detalle y totalmente recomendable para quienes quieran acercarse a la cultura del vino y la gastronomía manchega. ¡Sin duda, volveré! Gracias Carlos por cercanía, explicación y con el amor y entusiasmo que le pones a tu trabajo. Gracias a José por este regalo que en ningún momento supe a donde iba y sin duda fue el mejor regalo que pude recibir para conocer la gastronomía manchega en el lugar exacto. Un cordial saludo.
