41 BEST WINERIES TO VISIT IN ANDALUCIA [2026 LIST]

Andalusia is best known for the fortified wines of the Sherry Triangle: fino, manzanilla, amontillado, oloroso and palo cortado, aged in casks using the criaderas and soleras system. Manzanilla comes from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, where Barbadillo runs the Manzanilla Museum, and Cayetano del Pino is known for its palo cortado. Montilla-Moriles, in Córdoba, is the other major area for fortified wines, with wineries such as Alvear, Toro Albalá and Doblas. The region also makes sweet Moscatel wines, such as those of Nilva in Manilva, still wines from the mountains of Granada, Ronda and the Alpujarra, and brandy, which you can discover at Fundador, Osborne, Mam or Infante.

This selection covers all eight Andalusian provinces. Cádiz has 14 wineries, in Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, El Puerto de Santa María, Chiclana de la Frontera and Vejer; Córdoba has 9, in Montilla, Moriles and Aguilar de la Frontera; Huelva has 5, in the Condado de Huelva and the Jabugo area; Almería has 5; Granada has 4, in Guadix, Graena, Loja and Jete; Málaga has 3, in Ronda and Manilva; Seville has 1, in Villanueva del Ariscal, and Jaén has 1, in the Sierra Sur. You can taste wine at every winery on this list, and some pair it with other local products: Eíriz offers a blind tasting of hams with white wines from the Condado de Huelva; Riofrío, in Loja, a wine and caviar tasting; Cerro de las Cruces, in Guadix, a guided tasting with local products, and Cepa Bosquet, in Fondón, a tour with a tasting of six wines and local charcuterie for 18 € per person. Bodegas Góngora is in Villanueva del Ariscal, in the Aljarafe area, less than 20 minutes from Seville, and offers a guided tour, wine tasting and a shop. To the west, the Condado de Huelva has wineries such as Andrade, in Bollullos par del Condado, and Mam and Infante, in La Palma del Condado.

Cerro de las Cruces is a cave winery at 950 metres in the Granada Geopark, and Bodega Toral makes its wines in a clay cave in Graena, more than 1,000 metres up. Lustau welcomes visitors to its 19th-century cathedral-style cellars. In Almería, Cepa Bosquet ages its wines in a former underground mining reservoir and Perfer makes blue wines, while Espinosa de los Monteros houses a collection of more than 300 string instruments from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The wineries on this list welcome visitors all year round, usually by prior booking. The harvest, at the end of summer, is the time to see work in the vineyard and the cellar, although some wineries pause their visits during those weeks: Cepa Bosquet, for example, does not run tours from 3 August to 16 October.
