Clos Pons is a family winery located in L'Albagés, in the heart of Les Garrigues, south of Lleida. Founded by the Pons family — with nearly a century of history tied to this estate — the current project was born in 2005 with the construction of a distinctive stone and wood winery, inspired by the architecture of wineries in California, Australia and New Zealand, yet deeply rooted in the Mediterranean landscape of southern Catalonia. The building stands on a hilltop with sweeping views over Les Garrigues and the Catalan Pyrenees.
Clos Pons is part of Grup Pons, a family company with decades of history in the production of Arbequina extra virgin olive oil under the PONS brand, internationally recognised and used by chefs around the world. The estate combines organic vineyards and olive groves under the DO Costers del Segre — Les Garrigues sub-zone — with precision winemaking that has established Clos Pons as one of the reference wineries of Lleida and the Catalan wine scene. Its wines and oils have received recognition from the leading international guides and competitions.
WINE TOURISM
Clos Pons offers guided visits every weekend and on public holidays, with two available time slots to suit different moments of the day. Each visit covers the winery facilities — barrels, vineyards and production areas — and concludes with a guided tasting of the main Clos Pons wines. The visit is suitable for all audiences, including families with children. A perfect getaway for those looking for wine tourism and olive oil tourism in Lleida, less than two hours from Barcelona.
10:00 Visit — Breakfast and Tasting
The morning begins with a breakfast made with local produce, paired with PONS olive oil and a glass of Alges, the winery's flagship wine. After breakfast, a full tour of the facilities and a guided tasting of 4 Clos Pons wines.

Día estupendo de visita guiada al Celler Comenzamos con un desayuno de Pagés, degustación de excelentes aceites. Explicación de todo el proceso desde la siembra, cuidado y recolección de la cosecha y todo su proceso hasta llegar a ser OLI. Continuamos con un paseo por las diferentes plantaciones de olivos y parras. Seguido de una cata de sus vinos, blancos, tintos y rosados y una exquisita comida (gracias al chef) y todo el personal que se nos atendió, enseñó y hicieron de nuestra estancia una experiencia maravillosa y inolvidable. Muy recomendable 💯%💯
Elegimos la actividad de desayuno más visita. Desayuno bastante completo con grandes vistas a los viñedos. Y la visita muy interesante recorriendo las diferentes salas mientras nos explicaban el proceso del vino. Al acabar nos ofrecieron una cata de 3 vinos. Mencionar que el complejo arquitectonico aparte de ser agradable a la vista, no sesentona con el paisaje. En general una experiencia única y recomendable.
