The history of Cuarta Generación Winery began in 1948 in Sotoserrano, when Antonio Aparicio's father, nicknamed "Azufre” (Sulfur) for his meticulous care of the vines, started a tradition that continues today. With care and dedication, he expanded the winery, a legacy that his son inherited, thus continuing the family's passion for wine.
Today, that heritage is embodied in our wines 98, 57, 27, and 97, a tribute to a saga of "Antonios” and vineyards with more than 60 years of history. From our enclave in the Batuecas-Sierra de Francia Natural Park, we produce artisanal wines that are born on terraces above the Alagón River, always striving for excellence.

Muy recomendable; Antonio nos hizo una visita super completa, empezando por los viñedos, de como su familia empezó con esta tradición de hacer vino en la Sierra de Francia. Explicó todo genial y de manera muy amena. Después de ver todo, ofreció una degustación de diferentes vinos acompañados de un poco de embutido de la zona.
Una pasada de bodega, museo y vino. Todo en su justa medida como en el vino! Antonio hizo de la visita algo súper especial. El "chateo" con un apasionado como el fue único. Un viaje al pasado y a los antiguos valores de la mano de un experto combinado con risas y vino hizo de nuestro viaje a Salamanca y alrededores algo mucho mejor! Recomendable al 100%!
