Bodega Sierra Almagrera is located in the heart of the Cuevas del Almanzora Valley, east of the province of Almería. At 350 meters above sea level and embraced by the foothills of the Sierra de Almagrera, this location offers a privileged environment influenced by cool Mediterranean breezes and reddish loamy soil, enriched over centuries by the decomposition of rocks and minerals that were part of the area's ancient silver and iron mines.

The Sierra Almagrera vineyard stands out not only for its quality, but also for its heritage. More than 3,000 years ago, the first vines brought by the Phoenicians to the Iberian Peninsula were planted on these lands. Unlike other regions, the Phoenicians chose to plant here, on the coast, defying the terrain and laying the foundations for a thousand-year-old wine tradition that is now being revived.
