Bodegas Ismael Arroyo S.L. is a family-run winery located in Sotillo de la Ribera, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin.
Founded in 1979, when the Designation of Origin did not yet exist, Ismael Arroyo was one of the pioneering winegrowers who, together with a small group of winemakers, promoted the creation of the Ribera del Duero, officially recognized in 1982.
The family's winemaking tradition dates back more than 400 years, passed down from generation to generation to the present day. As a testament to this long history, the winery preserves a document certifying the award given in 1948 to Elpidio Arroyo—father and paternal grandfather of the current generation—in the "Great Competition of Red and Claret Wines of Ribera del Duero.”

Excelente experiencia con nuestro Tour y cata de vinos en las Bodegas Ismael Arroyo. El tour facilitado por Miguel Angel Arroyo ha sido fascinante con todo lujo de detalles desde la cultivación, recogida y embotellado de un vino excepcional guardados en sus bodegas subterráneas! Gracias a Ramón Arroyo por su atención en la tienda y ayuda a la hora de escoger nuestros vinos! Muy recomendado tanto el lugar cómo la calidad de sus vinos!!
Es una bodega que tiene una parte subterránea espectacular, el trato de la familia increíble y los vinos excelentes. Merece la pena ir y conocer gente tan maja y un lugar emblemático en la Ribera del Duero. Tienen un viñedo al lado de la bodega con un paisaje muy chulo. La visita es superrecomendable.
