VISIT LADRÓN DE LUNAS WINERY [VALENCIA]
With over a century of history, the Ladrón de Lunas winery is one of the most representative wine-producing complexes in the Valencian Community from an architectural and production point of view. Eclectic and modernist in style, the complex was designed by architect Demetrio Ribes Marco, who also designed other iconic buildings such as Valencia's Estación del Norte train station and the Casa de Correos in Castellón.
The original complex was structured into different spaces—a mansion, a winery, housing for grape pickers, a house for caretakers, and an aging cellar—reflecting an advanced concept for its time. Originally owned by the Oria de Rueda family, the winery became one of the largest in Europe and stood out for its early incorporation of industrial machinery, placing it at the forefront of production methods.
The current project maintains this historical and technical legacy, together with a family tradition linked to wine. The grandfather of the current winemaker, Francisco Martínez Bermell, was the creator of the first great Valencian crianza wine and one of the promoters of the Requena Harvest Festival, a legacy that continues to be present in the winery's philosophy today.
Ladrón de Lunas wines and cavas have a strong international presence in markets across Europe, Africa, America, and Asia.

Ladrón de Lunas' wine tourism experiences focus on learning about the vineyard, the winery, and the winemaking process, with a personal approach guided by the winemaking team itself.
Ladrón de Lunas Tasting Experience
A guided tour of the vineyard and winemaking facilities, ending with a guided tasting of the winery's wines.

Desde el momento en que entramos en sus viñedos, sentimos la esencia de generación para crear vinos que cuentan historias. La visita a la bodega fue un viaje al pasado, un recorrido por décadas de esfuerzo y amor por la tierra. La experiencia a la visita de la bodega a sido de 10 por no decir de 20. Nos han explicado absolutamente desde como empezaron hasta lo que son hoy en día, mostrándonos también como hacen la producción del vino y finalmente una magnífica cata acompañada de ibéricos, queso y ensaladilla rusa al solecito que acompañaba de maravilla. Gracias por todo!!! Volveremos segurísimo!!!
