Bodegas López Cristóbal is a family project rooted in Roa de Duero, Burgos, whose history dates back to the 1930s, when Santiago López's father began a winegrowing venture on the very land where the winery stands today.
The winery has 70 hectares of estate vineyards, where Tinta del País — the Tempranillo of Ribera del Duero — is the leading variety.

Reds, whites and rosés from the DO Ribera del Duero made primarily from Tinta del País, across a range spanning young wines and single-vineyard references through to crianzas and reservas aged in French and American oak barrels.

Bodega familiar, fuera de lo común, en Ribera. Total acierto, menos mal que vinimos porque fue sin duda una de mis favoritas. Por el lugar tan hermoso, por como nos trasladaron la historia y, por supuesto por sus vinos. La cata fue una de las más completas (pudimos probar 4 de sus vinos) pero a mí lo que más me gustó fue la explicación de la cata y como nos ayudó a apreciar cada uno de sus variedades. Muchas gracias Cristina por cómo nos trasladaste todos tus conocimientos (nos encantó!) y a Galo por su amabilidad. Con ganas de probar los vinos que compré ya en Madrid!
Totalmente recomendable! La visita y la cata en Bodegas López Cristóbal fueron excelentes. Fue un privilegio que nos guiaran Santiago y Lola, los fundadores, lo que hizo la experiencia mucho más personal y especial. La cata de los cuatro vinos estuvo genial, con un especial destaque para el Albillo, un blanco de una calidad sorprendente y el Bágus o el Colorado y la Linde. En general, todos sus vinos son muy buenos y Es una bodega que ofrece una gran calidad a un precio muy justo. Sin duda, una parada obligatoria para los amantes del vino.
