VISIT TERRA REMOTA WINERY [ALT EMPORDÀ]

Terra Remota is a winery founded in 1999 by the Bournazeau Florensa family, on a 40 ha property in Alt Empordà, Girona, within the DO Empordà. Located near the villages of Capmany and Sant Climent Sescebes, the winery is in a wooded area protected by the Albera mountain range, 15 km from the Mediterranean and 140 meters above sea level, with granitic soil. Although remote, the area has been inhabited since Iberian times, which is reflected in the Terra Remota logo, featuring symbols of these ancient communities.
