VISIT VEGALFARO WINERY [REQUENA]
Viñedos y Bodegas Vegalfaro was born in 1999 thanks to the passion of Andrés Valiente and his son Rodolfo. The name of the winery unites the term "vega” -fertile land next to the river- with the historical name of the estate, Casa Alfaro. Since then, the family has worked with dedication to make wines that express the essence of the surrounding landscape and history.
Today, Rodolfo Valiente leads the project with a clear philosophy: to create wines with identity, combining tradition and innovation and always betting on organic farming. Vegalfaro produces wines certified as organic by the European Union, within three Denominations of Origin: Pago de Los Balagueses, Utiel-Requena and Cava.

We invite you to visit our winery and live a unique wine tourism experience, where you can walk through centenary vineyards, discover how we make our organic wines and enjoy a tasting with local products.

Guided tour by an oenologist, visit to the oldest vineyards, explanation of our organic methods and elaboration of wines and cavas. Includes initiation to tasting with cheese and cold meats pairing.

Hemos disfrutado este sábado de la visita a la bodega y ha sido una experiencia muy agradable. Pedro, el enólogo responsable de la explicación y la cata, nos ha explicado muy bien los rasgos del territorio donde crecen las vides, el proceso de la producción de los caldos y el embotellado. Nos ha respondido a muchas preguntas que nos han surgido y, finalmente, nos ha ofrecido una cata dec4 productos de sus bodegas. Muy recomendable.
La cata ha ido estupendamente. Pedro nos ha explicado todo de maravilla, con profesionalidad y cercanía, aportando datos y curiosidades sobre la elaboración del vino que desconocíamos y nos han sorprendido. La cata en sí también ha estado genial, no escatiman, al revés, te ofrecen repetir si así lo deseas. El lugar agradable y fácil de localizar. 100% recomendable. ¡Volveremos!
