VISIT VILARNAU WINERY [PENEDÉS]

The Vilarnau family settled in the Penedés in the 12th century, cultivating vineyards in the demarcation of Subirats Castle. In 1949, they launched their first cava under the Vilarnau label, made to high quality standards. In 1982, the winery became part of González Byass and in 2005 its modern headquarters, designed by Luis González and integrated into the Mediterranean landscape, was inaugurated. The estate "Can Petit i les Planes de Vilarnau", of 20 hectares, enjoys a privileged environment, with varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Macabeo and Xarel-lo
