VISIT COOPERATIVA DE VIVER WINERY [CASTELLÓN]
The Cooperative of Viver is a little piece of Mediterranean agriculture in the heart of Castellón that works to recover its great wine tradition while defending its most unique crops on the basis of top quality production and fair marketing.
Through the different wine tourism experiences offered throughout the year, the Viver Cooperative dynamizes the territory and enhances the value of its wines, recognized nationally and internationally in renowned competitions and guides.
From the experience "The skin of the vine", absolute winner in the first edition of the Creaturisme Awards of the Generalitat Valenciana, to unique events such as the Viver Winefest, on the first Friday of August; Harvest Time, in September; or the afternoon events at the winery during the summer, visitors can get to know this interesting winemaking project and enjoy a hedonistic tasting of its wines.
A highly recommended visit in the beautiful Alto Palancia region of Castellón for lovers of viticulture and enology.

Wine types
Mediterranean wines with the varieties Chardonnay, Macabeo, Tempranillo, Garnacha, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and with the native pre-phylloxera varieties Pampolat, Morenillo and Mondragón, which are in the process of recovery.

¡Una experiencia maravillosa! La visita a los viñedos fue informativa y la cata de vinos estuvo bien explicada. El almuerzo fue delicioso, con algunos productos locales. Nuestra guía, Teresa, fue genial, realmente apasionada por el proyecto y muy informativa. Definitivamente recomendaría esta actividad.
Nos han llevado a una visita premium por los viñedos, dandonos explicacion de los tipos de uva, procesos etc. Cata y almuerzo riquisimo. Un lujazo en un pueblo muy bonito para visitar y pasar el dia
