Our wines are born in the heart of Ribeiro, where the Miño, Avia, and Arnoia rivers shape a landscape of fertile valleys. We founded Viña Costeira in 1968 in Ribadavia, becoming one of the oldest wine cooperatives in Galicia and pioneers in the recovery of native varieties.
Today we are a large family with around 400 members and 200 suppliers, cultivating more than 460 hectares of vineyards in Ribeiro. We produce white wines with Treixadura, Torrontés, Loureira, Lado, Albariño, and Godello, and red wines with Caiño, Brancellao, Sousón, Ferrón, and Mencía.

EVENTS AND WEDDINGS
The Pazo de Toubes, dating back to 1742, offers a magical setting for celebrating unforgettable moments. Restored while preserving its essence, it combines stone, steel, and vineyards in a versatile space where every detail can be customized.
We have our own restaurant —recommended by the 2024 Repsol Guide—, a hall for celebrations, terraces overlooking the Ribeiro valley, outdoor areas, and indoor spaces for ceremonies. We also offer parking and a unique tasting room within the 18th-century manor-winery.

Wine types
Viña Costeira wines are part of Galicia's oldest designation of origin and probably one of the oldest in Europe: the Ribeiro DO. Its diversity of grape varieties is one of the riches that history has bestowed on Ribeiro. Treixadura, Torrontés, Loureira, Lado, Albariño, and Godello are the great native grape varieties used in the production of white wines, giving them their freshness, body, and aromas.

Visita muy tranquila y agradable. Comenzamos con un bonito paseo por los viñedos, para después recorrer tanto la bodega nueva como la antigua, lo que permitió apreciar la historia y evolución del lugar. La guía fue muy amable y atenta en todo momento, transmitiendo cercanía y conocimiento. Los vinos que probamos estaban muy buenos, con sabores que invitan a repetir. Una experiencia recomendable para disfrutar con calma y aprender sobre el vino de la zona.
Una experiencia maravillosa. Fuimos a Viña Costeira con nuestros dos niños y salimos encantados. La visita fue muy completa y amena. Nuestra guía estuvo con nosotros en todo momento: fue didáctica, cercana y muy amable, explicándonos con pasión la historia de la bodega, el proceso de elaboración del vino y curiosidades del viñedo. Nos encantó recorrer los viñedos, descubrir los secretos de la producción y disfrutar de un entorno precioso. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora, cercana y muy bien organizada, que disfrutamos todos. Sin duda, una visita que vale mucho la pena.
