A young and rebellious wine from Toledo
Bodegas Más Que Vinos puts Toledo back on the international wine map with "Los Conejos Malditos", a Tempranillo that has not only conquered tables in the United States but also appears in the movie "Una batalla tras otra”, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and starring Leonardo DiCaprio. In one of the most intimate and emotional scenes, the actor enjoys this wine made in Cabañas de Yepes, reflecting over two decades of organic, sustainable viticulture faithful to the terroir.
A story of inspiration and nature
The wine’s name comes from the plots where rabbits cause the most damage: "they choose the best grapes, forcing us to work with very low yields," the winery explains. This coexistence between nature and wine inspired the collaboration with American cartoonist Dustin Harbin, creator of the iconic Los Conejos Malditos label.
A vibrant and expressive Tempranillo
The wine stands out for its carbonic maceration and deep color, with aromas of black cherry, violets, and a mineral touch. Juicy, balanced, and with a young spirit, it is one of the winery’s most recognizable wines, which also produces a white and a rosé following the same philosophy of minimal intervention and respect for the grape.
