VISIT BODEGAS PUELLES WINERY IN ÁBALOS [RIOJA ALTA]

We are a family winery with many generations making wine in a small privileged area: Ábalos, in La Rioja Alta. The brothers Félix and Jesús Puelles acquired the mill estate in 1844 and moved to this location in 1985 to build their home and their dream: Bodegas Puelles. The winery is surrounded by vineyards, protected by the mountains and next to the old 17th century mill.

WINE TOURISM EXPERIENCE IN LA RIOJA ALTA 

We have always been committed to direct contact, the development of wine culture and collaboration with local tourism. We are pioneers in wine tourism in the Rioja area and today we continue to receive visitors from all over the world, transmitting the passion with which we work and live the world of wine. We carry out guided tastings and guided tours. Each experience is very complete as we visit both winery and vineyard, we offer a wide variety of wines to taste and we adapt to the experience and knowledge of each group in our explanations. All the wine tourism experiences we offer are carried out by the family.

SUSTAINABILITY AND FAMILY TRADITION IN THE VINEYARD

Regarding the vineyard, we care for and work with a sustainable cultivation, with ecological viticultural practices that respect the environment and provide more quality to the grapes. The result of all these factors are the wines we produce: a reflection of the land, the environment and the good work of the family.

Want to buy or know more about our wines

Our wines are sold directly from the winery to the consumer, as we do not have distributors, ensuring the maximum care of our wines during the whole process.
