El Bierzo Wine Route

The El Bierzo Wine Route is located in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, in the province of León, close to Lugo and Ourense. This destination has established itself as a reference for wine tourism thanks to its diversity of landscapes, heritage and the range of wineries open to visitors.
The wines of the area are protected by the Denominación de Origen Bierzo, and are produced mainly from varieties such as Mencía and Godello. The region brings together some of the best wineries to visit, where it is possible to explore the vineyards, tour the facilities and taste the finest wines of El Bierzo.
