VISIT BODEGAS CORONADO [CUENCA]
Bodegas Coronado is located in La Alberca de Záncara (Cuenca) and was born in 2002 as a family project driven by Mr. Casildo Coronado García, inheriting a deep-rooted winemaking tradition. Currently, his sons Raúl and Casildo Coronado Navarro lead the winery: Raúl is in charge of the winemaking process and Casildo of the vineyard work, which allows a comprehensive control of the entire process.
Since 2004, the winery has been marketing its wines, the result of a philosophy based on respect for the product and a personal approach that seeks to excite the consumer.
The winery's own vineyards, located between 820 and 850 meters above sea level, are managed with special attention to the harvest, which is key to guaranteeing maximum quality. This is done early in the morning, at the optimum moment of ripening, to ensure the freshness of the fruit and an adequate cold maceration.

Visitamos la bodega un sábado, nos enseñaron la bodega de una forma exahustiva y explicaciones claras y sencillas. Seguidamente hicimos una cata de un cava y un vino blanco y dos tintos. El cava brut nature nos dejó sin palabras algo sublime, el vino blanco nos puso el paladar a tono para lo que se avecinaba, un tinto que nos dejó a todos encantados y el segundo tinto ya dio la campanada. Una visita que repetiremos el año próximo, vale la pena. El responsable de la bodega se entregó a la visita y nos atendió como si fuésemos de la casa. Gracias por todo. Seguir haciendo vinos tan buenos.
