VISIT BODEGAS HESVERA [RIBERA DEL DUERO]
Bodegas Hesvera makes red wines in Pesquera de Duero (Valladolid), one of the municipalities of the Milla de Oro in the Ribera del Duero DO. All the grapes come from its own vineyards, spread across Pesquera sites such as Valderramiro, Ermita and Gallego. The vines are over 25 years old, bush-trained (en vaso) with local clones from the municipality and grafted by the winery itself. These are low-yielding vineyards, hand-harvested after analysing the polyphenolic indices of the grapes.
WINE TOURISM
Bodegas Hesvera opens for visits from Monday to Sunday, always by prior booking. There is a single session a day, at 12:00, for a maximum of 10 people. To book a winery visit and wine tasting in Pesquera de Duero, use the form on its website or contact the winery by phone or WhatsApp.
Visit, Tasting and Local Produce
An oenologist leads the tour of the winery and explains the fermentation, maturation and barrel-ageing processes. The visit ends with a guided tasting of the winery's 2 wines, where visitors learn to identify the aromas each winemaking method brings. The tasting is accompanied by typical local products.
