The history of the winery is intrinsically linked to the history of
Irache Monastery and its wine production since ancient times.
The Irache Monastery is the largest monumental complex in Navarre and its foundation dates back to the 10th century.
Already in the 11th century the Benedictine monks who occupied the Monastery produced wines appreciated by the royal family of Navarre.
THE CATHEDRAL OF WINE
Under the architectural influence of the Monastery, the winery's aging cellar was built in the 1990s. A spectacular space made up of imposing columns topped by semicircular arches that have led some connoisseurs to call it "the cathedral of wine".

It is one of the most complete wine museums in the world with more than 400 pieces related to viticulture.

Fuí la semana pasada porque tenía que ver eso con mis propios ojos.. Una fuente que da vino!!! Un milagro 😅 Para llegar el lugar está bien señalizado. El vino sale muy fresquito, lástima que haya que conducir, por lo tanto con moderación. Dicen en la web que se recarga diariamente con 100 litros.. Tiene dos grifos, uno de vino y otro de agua. Hay un museo-tienda del vino, muy interesante y de visita obligada y sin costó alguno su visita
Magnífica explicación de Ana, la enóloga que nos ha atendido y la cata de vinos ha sido una excelente representación de vinos navarros que nos han encantado. Muy recomendable
