Bodegas Olarra offers a visit to discover the uniqueness of its architecture, which is distinguished by the combination of materials that creates a space full of sensations.
Practically since its foundation, Bodegas Olarra has been recognized as the Great Cathedral of Rioja or maximum exponent of Wine Architecture.
Its impressive construction, the work of Juan Antonio Ridruejo, is one of the first exercises in architecture applied to a winery and one of the first times that a prestigious architect designed a winemaking hall, the result of his own interpretation of a Gothic cathedral with three floors and a central transept, perfectly suited to house a winemaking center.

Hemos hecho hoy la visita guiada con degustación de vinos y genial! La guia Angela un encanto y explicaba todo el proceso de elaboración del vino de una manera muy amena mientras recorríamos las instalaciones. La mejor parte es la zona de barricas con esos techos hexagonales que cuenta 27 mil barricas de 225litros cada una. Nos comentaron que se embotellan unos 8-10 millones de botellas al año. Es todo un proceso mecanizado, digno de ver. Visita muy recomendable. Tiene parking en la misma bodega.
Excelente bodega, el edificio es magnífico, la visita inmejorable, el enólogo José Ramón nos hizo un recorrido de lujo! Muchas gracias
