VISIT BODEGAS REVERÓN [TENERIFE]

Bodegas Reverón was founded in 1947, when Eugenio Reverón Sierra began producing bulk wine on his estate in Vilaflor. In 2006, at the age of 89, together with his son Diego, he decided to expand the old winery and modernise production, bottling under the Reverón brand for the first time under the DO Abona. Today the estate comprises three properties and 17.1 hectares of vineyard in Spain's highest municipality.

The vineyards lie above 1,300 metres in altitude, in Vilaflor, where the soil receives only organic matter of biological origin. Of the 17.1 hectares, 12 are farmed under EU-certified organic agriculture. The main varieties are Listán Blanco for dry, fruity whites, and Listán Negro, Tempranillo, Castellana and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds.

Teide under the Stars
Activity organised by Viajes Teide, departing from Bodegas Reverón. It includes hotel pick-up, a visit and dinner at the winery, and stargazing in Teide National Park with a specialised guide. It takes place every Wednesday and Saturday of the year.
