VISIT VEGAMAR WINERY [VALENCIA]

Vegamar is to take care of the pleasure of the palate, is to enjoy the moment.
VEGAMAR BODEGAS was born in 1999 as a family winery located in Calles, Valencia, 65km from the sea and more than 600m above sea level, which allows us to produce wines that convey the essence of the mountains, its flavor and aroma, and the Mediterranean of the upper Turia.

Our vineyards are located in a very natural environment, surrounded by the river Tuéjar and the river Turia, spectacular for its beauty and exceptional for the cultivation of vines and fruit trees for its microclimate, unique in the area of the serranos, without the presence of another vineyard around that allows us uniqueness. We know that any morsel, to be good, has to be real. For this reason, we harvest when nature dictates and explore new flavors that invite you to meet with friends for a treat.

WINE TOURISM

Vermouth workshop: an experience of nature and well-being.
  • Includes:
    • Visit to the winery.
    • Walk through our organic orchard.
    • Discovery of the insect hotel, a biodiversity project.
    • Practical workshop of handmade vermouth elaboration.
    • Workshop of wild botanicals: aromas and flavors of the environment.
    • Vegamar wine and vermouth tasting.
    • Tasting of Iberian cured meats, cheeses, gourmet preserves and homemade salad.
  • Schedule: 11:00 to 14:30

Vegamar Experience
  • Includes:
    • Visit to the vineyard in the heart of Alto Turia, with spectacular views of the surroundings.
    • Tour of the winery and the barrel cellar, where you will learn about the more familiar side of Vegamar.
    • Explanation of the winemaking process.
    • Tasting of 2 Vegamar wines and a vermouth, with a guide to identify nuances and singularities.
  • Time: 11:00 h
  • Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes approx.

Lunch at Bodegas Vegamar

After the experience of visiting the winery and tasting in our winery, we encourage you to complete the day with a meal in our restaurant, where you will enjoy typical dishes of the area prepared with care and local flavor, accompanied by our wines.
