VISIT FINCA MOROTE WINERY & OLIVE MILL [ALICANTE CITY]

Finca Morote is a family agricultural estate in the Huerta de Alicante with roots going back 5 generations. The Morote family has continuously maintained vine cultivation and winemaking in their fields of La Condomina, Fabraquer, and Orgeja, preserving more than 17 ancient grape varieties, heirs to those used in the historic Fondillón wine. The estate also has a 17th-century olive mill, a traditional grape-treading press, and a partially preserved historic winery. Irrigation is carried out using the traditional Huerta de Alicante system.

Finca Morote combines wine and olive oil production under the same roof, in a gardened environment that reflects the agricultural character of the Alicante coast. The guided visit includes a virtual reality experience showing the operation of the olive mill and grape-treading vat, and is complemented by a carriage ride through almond, vine, and olive fields.

Guided visits to Finca Morote take place every Sunday in two sessions, the first at 9:00 and the last at 11:30 am, and are available in Spanish, Valencian, English, French, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, and Italian. For groups of more than 10 people, weekday availability can be arranged with adapted formats and pricing.
