Bodegas Manzanos Haro was founded in 1801, being the oldest winery in the city of Haro, the heart of the wine region of the DOCa Rioja and the only one of the time with vertical design that is still in operation. It houses the Bodegas Berceo building as well as the 1733 Palacio de Tejada, which is located just 50 meters from the Plaza de la Paz in Haro.

The cellars are located in what used to be the old galleries of the Haro Castle, which date back to the Middle Ages. As for the elaboration of the wines, its philosophy is based on two sources of inspiration, which are those that today nourish the world of wine: on the one hand, the experience of the old European continent; on the other hand, the avant-garde techniques of the new world. The combination of both allows us to stamp the personal seal of the technical team.

WINE TOURISM IN HARO

Visit to the old winery, which has been restored and partly converted into a wine museum. Tour of all the steps that our grapes follow from the vineyard to become magnificent wines. These include the 5 subway floors of its design by gravity, from the reception area through the current production area, to the bottle cellar, which highlights the magnificent aging room of the nineteenth century and the crypt of bottles of the fifteenth century ending the visit in the tasting room where we will taste our wines with an aperitif.
