VISIT LA BODEGUITA ESCONDIDA WINERY [RIOJA]
The winery is located in Hervías, very close to Santo Domingo de la Calzada, the winemaking tradition of La Bodeguita Escondida goes back generations, when the ancestors of its current owners made wine both for family consumption and to meet the labor obligations of the time. It was customary for part of the farm workers' wages to be paid in kind, receiving one quart of wine (equivalent to 4 liters) per person per day, plus five meals and a small cash payment. This legacy is kept alive in the same historic building that today houses La Bodeguita Escondida, a place that continues to be a symbol of tradition and authenticity in winemaking.

Ha sido una agradable sorpresa conocer esta bodega y a su propietario. Toño disfruta con su trabajo y eso se nota. La cata de aceite y de sus vinos es el colofon de una gran visita. Sin duda la voy a recomendar y si puedo...volveré. Gracias Toño por trasmitir la pasión con la que vives tu trabajo
Una experiencia estupenda. Toño nos explicó con todo detalle el proceso de elaboración del vino y nos enseñó la bodega. La cata de vinos y aceites muy bien también. Una visita 100% recomendable!
