DISCOVERY TOUR
An immersion by train to the oldest winery in Spain: descend to its 30km of subway galleries, which will be visited with an electric train, learn the secrets of the creator of cava and discover the history of this company.

The visits are always guided by Codorníu staff and last approximately one hour and 15 minutes.
The visit includes:
  • A warm welcome in the Sala Puig, also known as 'the Cathedral of Cava.
  • An overview of the company's rich history dating back to 1551.
  • Detailed explanations of the cava production process.
  • A descent into the historic subway caves, dating back to the end of the 19th century, and a guided train tour through the extensive cellars.
  • Tasting of two premium cavas.

ARS COLLECTA TOUR
More than five centuries of experience behind the Codorniu cellars. In the Ars Collecta collection, we find the perfect fusion between tradition and innovation. Sourced from Celler Jaume, a micro-winery characterized by vineyard care and innovative spirit, inspired by the values of the Ars Collecta collection, this premium experience reflects the value of the land, modernism and the expertise of more than 450 years of winemaking. It is unique, it cannot be compared.
Includes the tasting of 4 premium cavas, one of them from Paraje Calificado.
Groups of maximum 12 people. Adults only.

  • Tasting of 3 Ars Collecta cavas and a Paraje Calificado cava in a private room. Aperitif at the end of the tasting.
The Paraje Calificado qualification, granted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment, is an exclusive distinction for those cavas made with grapes from a particular place, along with some quality criteria in its development that make only 15 cavas in the whole country to wear it, three of them from Codorníu.
