Ernesto del Palacio's millenary subterranean winery is located in the wine-producing town of San Román de Hornija, a village located in the west of the province of Valladolid, bordering with Toro, province of Zamora. San Román is formed by two valleys between the Bajóz and Hornija rivers, both tributaries of the Duero river.

San Román de Hornija is a land of wines, the cultivation of the vine has multiplied and its wines are giving much to talk about in this municipality included in the Denomination of Origin Toro. The project of the winery Ernesto del Palacio begins with the illusion of a farming family to produce quality wines with grapes from their own vineyards cared for with all the care, tenacity and experience that has been passed down from father to son for over 300 years. Bodegas Ernesto del Palacio is a dream and a purpose. It is the 300 years of history and the desire to return to the winery, to create an experience, to improve what we are.
