VISIT BODEGAS CARCHELO (JUMILLA-MURCIA)
Bodegas Carchelo is a family winery located at the foot of the Sierra del Carche, in Jumilla. Since 1990 we have been producing DOP Jumilla wines with Monastrell as the leading variety, combining knowledge passed down between generations with a precise, contemporary approach to wine.
We are a working, producing winery. During the visit, guests walk through the spaces where we make, age and bottle our wines, accompanied by professionals who are part of the winery's regular team and know first-hand the work and decisions behind every bottle.
Over approximately two hours, visitors see our experimental vineyard and walk through the production room, the barrel room and the bottling area. Throughout the visit we talk about the vine cycle, Monastrell, the Jumilla territory and our winemaking process.
The visit ends with a guided tasting of five Carchelo wines, accompanied by an individual board of Iberian cheeses and cured meats.
It is an unhurried, close-up experience, carried out in small groups so we can talk and adapt the explanations to visitors' questions and interests.
CARCHELO WINE TOURISM EXPERIENCE
- Duration: approximately 2 hours
- Includes:
- Guided visit to the experimental vineyard and the winery facilities: production room, barrel room and bottling area.
- Guided tasting of five wines.
- Individual board of Iberian cheeses and cured meats.
- Groups: Monday to Friday, the minimum group size is 2 people; on Saturdays, 4 people, and on Sundays we open for groups of 12 people or more.

Un lugar de fantasía para el paladar digno para compartir en buena compañía. Gracias bodegas CARCHELO.
Decidimos acudir a esta bodega para una visita y cata de vinos y la verdad que tanto yo como mi pareja nos hemos ido con una sensación buenísima. La atención fue excelente, una visita que comenzó con una explicación muy amena sobre el tipo de uvas y terrenos, las instalaciones, el proceso de elaboración y por último una cata en las que tuvimos el enorme placer de probar algunos vinos de Bodegas Carchelo (tanto blanco como tintos) que nos parecieron todos ellos dignos de una gran bodega como es esta. Ánimo a todas las personas que sientan pasión por el vino o simplemente tengan ganas de probar una nueva experiencia en que acudan aquí.
