VISIT VIÑA DE EUFEMIA WINERY [REQUENA]
In the interior of the province of Requena, after crossing the Sierra de las Cabrillas, the plateau opens up where Casas de Eufemia, home of Viña de Eufemia, is located. Here, among ancient vineyards up to eighty years old, a project was born that is committed to restoring the natural balance of the wine-growing landscape.
When this initiative began, there was no winery, only rows of Bobal, Macabeo, Xarel·lo, and Tardana grapes. The decision was not to start from scratch, but to build on what the land already offered. In contrast to the intensive viticulture that characterized the area for decades, Viña de Eufemia adopts a regenerative model based on the principles of permaculture.
The vineyard is conceived as a living ecosystem: olive and fruit trees among the vines, spontaneous vegetation cover, natural grazing with sheep and goats, and management aimed at restoring fertility and biodiversity to the soil. The goal is not only to produce wine, but also to regenerate the land and authentically express the character of the environment.
The winery produces organic wines and cavas that respect the terroir, with new vintages bottled progressively throughout the year.

The experiences at Viña de Eufemia are designed to help you discover a vineyard in balance, understand its regenerative philosophy, and taste its wines and cavas in an authentic rural setting. Visits are by appointment only, from Friday to Sunday.

Experiencia excelente. La cata fue inmejorable: el dueño personalmente nos contó la historia de sus antepasados, la bodega y el proceso de fabricación de los vinos que realizan bajo DO. Probamos los vinos de crianza de la bodega y estaban todos espectaculares. Además, la cata fue acompañada por un surtido de ibéricos y queso abundante, junto al fuego de la chimenea y las historias del dueño, el cual hizo una labor magnífica explicándonos su historia, la de la bodega y curiosidades del sector enológico. Recomendación 100%.
Una bodega familiar,preciosa,con mucho encanto,nos explican todo con detalle,historias entrañables,después una degustacion de vinos buenísimos y de jamón,lomo,chorizos y quesos exquisitos también para acompañar Gracias a él matrimonio amabilisimos con nosotros
