VISIT ZIFAR WINERY IN PEÑAFIEL | WINE TOURISM
Located in the town of Peñafiel, in one of the most emblematic buildings of the town and Mudejar style, dating from 1914. It began in 2002 an ambitious project with the aim of producing high quality wines in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.
The aging cellar is located underground, which allows a constant and ideal degree of humidity and temperature. The barrels are made up of more than 500 units, mainly French oak (95%) and American oak (5%) from different cooperages.
WINE TOURISM IN THE HEART OF RIBERA DE DUERO REGION
The doors of Bodegas Zifar are open to anyone who wishes to learn about the winemaking process and immerse themselves in the wine culture.
Visits are Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00h to 19:00h, Saturdays from 10:00h to 18:00h and Sundays from 10:30h to 14:30h.
*Appointments are required in order to properly organize the visit and tastings.
