ELECTRIC BICYCLE TOURS THROUGH THE VINEYARD
Between the months of March and October, the wine tourism offer is extended with routes through the vineyard on electric bicycles, discovering the magic of a unique environment where the vineyard meets the forest and the Douro River, ending with a picnic next to the vines.
AN ESTATE WITH HISTORY
The history of this unique enclave dates back to the 14th century when Pedro de Villacreces, a Franciscan friar and the first settler of the estate, established himself in this meander along the Duero River together with a group of clergymen, among whom was San Pedro Regalado, patron saint of Valladolid, to dedicate himself to prayer and cultivation of the land. At that time they already had a small vineyard for their own consumption and that of the nearby monasteries. With the disentailment of Mendizábal, the estate passed into private hands by different owners until, in 2004, the Antón family acquired what is considered one of the most spectacular vineyards in the Ribera del Duero.
